What are the Ohiohcp Departments?
The Ohiohcp Departments are structured accordingly to serve consumers and providers in an efficient manner.
They include:

The functions of each department is listed below.
Provider Management Services
Provider Monitoring
Meet with the providers at least annually to review education requirements, compliance, documentation, and assure that services are being provided as authorized.
IMIRS (Incident Management, Investigation, & Response System)
The purpose of the IMIRS Department is to ensure the health and safety of the consumer. The process is generally in the form of an investigation. The department's objective is to improve treatment and services as well as to remedy deficiencies in operating practices. The intent of the program is to foster educational processes rather than punitive ones.

Program Management Services
Quality Improvement
The Quality Improvement Department leads the quality improvement activities, including participation in the development or revision of the Ohiohcp Quality Management and Improvement Plan. This includes: conducting consumer satisfaction surveys, measuring compliance with standards, data collection analysis and reporting, internal record reviews and peer reviews.
Regional Management
The Regional Management Department has supervisory responsibility for clinical functions related to the provision of case management services and other direct services to consumers of the Ohio Home Care Programs.

Clinical Services
Clinical Management
The Director of Clinical Management directs all activities of the Case Management Teams. He/She must assure compliance with the terms of the Case Management contract between The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS)
/Bureau of Home and Community Services (BHCS). and CareStar.
Intake Management
The Intake Department receives all inquires and referrals for Ohio Home Care Program services and assures applications are processed accurately according to rules, and are completed within ODJFS contractual timeframes.
